David Rentschler named Managing Partner at Brixx of Knoxville

“Looking at what David’s accomplished in the past, we’re really excited about his future at Brixx,” said Brixx of Knoxville restaurant owner HP Patel. “In his previous management positions David has developed creative ways of enhancing the customer experience and we’re confident that he’ll apply that expertise to Brixx of Knoxville.”
Rentschler comes to Brixx with over twenty years of experience in restaurant management. He most recently worked for Knoxville’s Baker Peters Jazz Club, which saw a remarkable boost in popularity during Rentschler’s time there.
In response to being named to the new position, Rentschler said “It’s a privilege to be a part of something that already has a such a great reputation like Brixx does. They’re a household name locally because they’ve got both the menu and the atmosphere that people don’t find anywhere else. I look forward to building upon that success.”
Both Patel and Rentschler credit that success to Brixx’s popular menu of unique dishes, including specialty wood fired pizzas, signature sandwiches, and pastas, served at both lunch and dinner. They say Brixx is a name customers have come to trust for fresh ingredients when they go out to eat. Under Rentschler, the restaurant will continue to use local produce and bake pizzas with homemade mozzarella.
Brixx has also made a name for itself as a casual late-night destination. After dinner, new crowds gather to sample any of Brixx’s twenty-four craft beers on tap, and weekly bar specials have become staples of the Knoxville night scene.
