Meet The New Group of Morris Creative Interns
KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—Morris Creative Group, a leading 22-year-old marketing firm in downtown Knoxville, is proud to introduce three new interns to its marketing and design team. The new interns will contribute their creative skills throughout the fall semester.
Rachel Elise lived in many places with her Air Force father, but claims Kansas City, Mo. as home. She earned her master’s degree in interior architecture and design from Kansas State University, and she has completed her study of graphic design at The University of Tennessee. In the future, Elise said she hopes to be an art director in a multi-disciplinary design or architecture firm, or possibly even running her own shop. Elise has previously done freelance work, designed high-end furniture in Kansas City and held a few internships with prominent architecture firms. Elise said she loves MCG because everyone is always happy and has a great sense of humor.
Joey Hathaway is from a small farming town in Glasgow, Mo. He’s majoring in advertising at The University of Tennessee and he plans on graduating in December 2014. After school, he plans to work for an agency in New York City as an account planner or account executive. Before joining Morris Creative, Hathaway interned at DMG | Bluegill and The Bingham Group. He said the best part about Morris Creative is the fun and friendly atmosphere, which really brings out the best creative and strategic decisions.
Tyler Watkins is from Memphis and will be graduating in December from The University of Tennessee, where he is majoring in advertising. After graduation, Watkins said he would be happy to find a job at any agency in Nashville. He is extremely excited about everything he’s going to learn and the experience he’s going to gain. Watkins said he loves working at MCG because he enjoys being with his fellow coworkers.
