Meet MCG’s Newest Marketing Interns

We kicked off 2020 in the best way possible as we welcomed two new marketing interns: Julia and Jayden. Keep reading to learn more about the freshest faces of MCG!

Julia Sachs

Julia is a senior at the University of Tennessee, studying advertising with a minor in Business Administration. Although she grew up in the small town of HighlandMaryland, she finds herself more at home here in the south. After Graduation in May, Julia hopes to work for a marketing agency, preferably on social media strategy or copywriting.

Julia was interested in working for MCG because was drawn to the work we do. She loves it here and is very excited to work with our clients. Julia also loves writing her blog and creating videos in her spare time. When she’s not hard at work, you can probably catch her hanging out in Market Square, or practicing yoga—she hopes to conquer a headstand by the time summer rolls around.

Jayden Saunders

Born in Memphis, Jayden is a senior advertising student at the University of Tennessee. Still trying to find his niche in the marketing world, he loves that MCG allows him to contribute to all different aspects of the process, whether that be creative, strategyor research. However, his dream is to eventually travel to the Big Apple to work in creative copywriting.

He claims he’s a pretty simple guy with simple needs. He loves TV shows like The Wire and Breaking Bad, as well as artists such as Frank Ocean and Waxahatchee. He enjoys some of Knoxville’s great restaurants like Stock and Barrel, Soccer Taco, and Chaiyo’s.

Fun fact: Jayden studied abroad in Italy last summer and was (almost) within reaching distance of Pope Francis.

Interested in becoming an MCG intern? We’re always accepting applications. Send your resume and portfolio to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!
