Meet Our New Interns and Senior Graphic Designer!

Khloe Williams, Graphic Design Intern

Khloe, originally from Jacksonville, FL, has grown up a true Tennessee girl since the age of 6! She currently attends Pellissippi State pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and is on track to graduate in May! Khloe has done volunteer and freelance work for local churches and nonprofits for over 3 years now to gain experience. When looking for internships, MCG stood out to Khloe by the style and reputation. She says that MCG was clean and well communicated, while still remaining timeless and modern. She also says that the group is pretty great, too! She loves graphic design because it can communicate without the need for words. Bold color, simple design, and clean white space are some of her favorites!

Khloe is excited to gain experience while interning here at MCG. She says that working on real projects in the real world provide so much. College classes provide a limited range of projects, but the diversity of projects and clients she will be exposed to here will provide a wonderful groundwork for her future.

In her free time, Khloe is a photographer, amateur chef and baker, Netflix addict, creative, wannabe adventurer, and a family girl!

Hayden Zelem, Graphic Design Intern

Hayden is a Knoxville native and in his Junior year at the University of Tennessee! He is pursing a degree in Graphic Design, and some of his experience includes interning at his church for the past few years designing for the student ministry and assisting the head designer on other projects. What attracted Hayden to MCG was the design style, and he has recognized much of the work produced throughout the Knoxville area. He says that he wanted an opportunity to work on projects like these.

Hayden’s favorite part about graphic design is all of the different ways of going about creating something. He says that it’s not just a desk job where he sits at a computer all day; he can work outside of that as well, which is something he enjoys greatly! At MCG, Hayden hopes to gain a better understanding of the design world outside of the classroom and to sharpen his skills by working on real projects in a professional environment.

In his spare time, Hayden likes to play the guitar, read, run, and have coffee with friends. We’re excited to have them both on our team!
