January 12, 2012, Knoxville, TN –  Kyle Dyer and Vincent Walker have joined the team at Morris Creative Group LLC, a leading 21-year-old marketing firm in downtown Knoxville. Dyer will contribute his design and writing skills to the firm’s creative team, while Walker will intern during the spring semester.

Dyer, a native of Huntington, W.Va., moved to Tennessee in October to begin work at MCG. Prior to the move, he graduated magna cum laude with a master’s degree in graphic design from Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Ga. Previously, Dyer freelanced and interned at The Herald-Dispatch newspaper, as well as Men’s Health and Travel + Leisure magazines.

“I’m excited to bring my ideas to MCG and its clients. Hopefully, I’ll get to know Knoxville and Tennessee in the process,” Dyer said. “Plus, MCG’s new space at the Southeastern Glass Building is a beautiful spot to come to work.”

In addition to his master’s degree, Dyer earned a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va. At Marshall, Dyer graduated magna cum laude and served as executive editor of the student newspaper.

Walker, of Toledo, Ohio, is a junior at the University of Tennessee where he is studying graphic design. Walker is a member of the UT Cheerleading Squad and a competitive gymnast. He won first place at the national YMCA gymnastic championship in 2006.

The opportunity to gain design experience brought Walker to MCG. “I wanted to broaden my skills as a graphic designer and get an in-depth look at the working world,” he said.
